Traditional kokeshi, also known as "dento" kokeshi, are simple wooden dolls that have been made in Japan for centuries. Originally produced as children's toys, they are now also prized as decorative items and collectibles. Each region of Japan has its own unique kokeshi style and design, representing a rich cultural tradition.
