A set of 4 compact Dutch chairs with a modernist, rational design. Most probably made as a kitchen table set. At first sight they seem to be quite new/modern. Once you see under the seat the age becomes apparent - these were made in the 1920s to 1930s. The seat height is 43 cm which is the same height as for instance the Zig Zag chair by Rietveld.
The chairs have been lightly restored and refinished. They are in good vintage condition, stable & sturdy.
