Model 4832' table lamp designed by the industrial designer André Ricard for Metalarte in Spain during the 1960s. A fine example of Spanish rationalist design, the lamp features a minimalist, cylindrical white lacquered metal shade that is height-adjustable along a rigid chromed steel stem. The shade projects a focused down-light, making it an ideal desk or reading lamp, while the open top allows for a soft upward diffusion. The lamp rests on a heavy, circular white metal base that provides stability and visual balance. Ricard, known for his functional yet aesthetic approach (and for designing the 1992 Olympic Torch), created this piece to be as practical as it is beautiful. It retains the original Metalarte label. This piece is in original vintage condition. Please note the base shows visible signs of age and oxidation, which contributes to its authentic vintage patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
