This Japanese candlestick from the Taishō period is made from wood that has retained its natural shape.
Dimensions: height 47 cm, width 24.5 cm, depth 21 cm. In very good condition.
The surface has a warm tone and shows beautiful traces of time: subtle texture, knots, and natural relief that give the piece a distinctive, sculptural presence. It stands firmly on a square base and is finished at the top with a metal pin, onto which you place a candle.
In a contemporary interior, it works as a quiet wabi-sabi accent: calm and earthy, yet full of character. Perfect in an eclectic setting on a low cabinet, a table, or as a statement in a quiet corner.
Even without a lit candle, it remains a unique object that adds atmosphere and authenticity.
