The reflective chrome dome and base create a sculptural presence, while the opal glass diffuses a soft light. Label under the base.
Goffredo Reggiani (1929–2004) Italian lighting designer. A leading name in mid-century modern design, Goffredo Reggiani is known for his futuristic-looking lamp designs, responding to the space age that began in the late 1960s. Sputnik and globe shapes, as well as elongated ovals, are recurring motifs in his designs. He founded his lighting company Reggiani in Italy, which is still in production today.
