Table lamp by Aldo Londi for Bitossi Ceramiche, 1970s.
The table lamp is handmade from brown and turquoise stoneware, with the turquoise featuring beautiful ornaments highlighted by the contrasting colors.
The structure is topped with a conical lampshade handmade from linen and cotton canvas.
Aldo Londi lived a life dedicated to art: he was a painter and sculptor, but above all a ceramist. He collaborated with Bitossi for over fifty years, first as artistic director and then as a collaborator.
Ceramic expertise and artistic sensitivity were his hallmarks. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
