This classic hand-painted large porcelain lamp base was likely produced in France (in the style of Porcelaine de Paris/Sèvres). Manufactured in the 1st half of 20th century. The color is slightly warmer than in the pictures.
The bayonet fitting is adjustable in height with a rotary knob.
