Black and white fish engraving by French lithographer, etcher and draughtsman Charles Étienne Pierre Motte, after Paul Louis Oudart (1796 - 1850). Marked C. Motte in the bottom right corner, and noted "P Oudart" in the bottom left corner.
Newly framed in a vintage Austrian black forest frame, matted on sage green grass cloth. The glass in the frame is new.
Motte's work is included in the collections of the Harvard Art Museums, the British Museum, the National Gallery of Art and the Morgan Library and Museum, among others.
Age: Note the engraving dates from 1830, however the age of the Austrian frame is unknown (likely vintage)
