MCM OIl on Canvas signed Luc Verger (France). The painting is of sailboats docked in St Tropez on the 14 Juillet (July 14, Bastille Day). It is inscribed on verso. This is very stunning, bright painting with light impasto. I found little on the artist except examples of these harbor scenes and still lives. Very attractive MCM painting with typical Mid century framing.
