Pile: Nice Medium pile, great wool with some age-related patina but with ancient restoration but nothing crazy
About: Magnificent tribal rug with the caucasian design running up the entire rug - these geometric medallion motifs date way back, so it's lovely to see them in a rare and beautiful color combination; grassy greens, beautiful saffrons, persimmon, espresso, beige, all against an amazing clay-madder root background. So pretty! I will write more soon!
This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one in the world, no others are available.
