Name: JAW DROPPING Mint Condition Antique Heriz Carpet | Rare Camel Border with Coral Ground in Naive Harshang Design
Size: ~ 9.3 x 11.4
Age: Antique, C. 1900-20's
Pile: Medium/High Plush Full Juicy Pile - OUTRAGEOUS how perfect the condition of this rug is! Was it in a Vault for 100 years?! You just never see such a Rare and Unique rug in this sort of UNTOUCHED condition - my mind is blown and my eyes are ECSTATIC!.
About: Again, I should just let the photos do the talking, but I can't help myself. This piece is such a Rare species. The soft icy blues, pastel sage greens, mellow honey and camel hues, medium almond and walnut hues, and deep espresso and coffee colors are beyond beautiful; but that two-toned abrash filled camel border is from Mars and the DELICIOUS Coral colored field is from Jupiter. If you look closely, you will see that this piece has the MOST IMPORTANT MOTIF OF ALL TIME, a Geometric Sickle Leaf, which is the main motif in the Most Expensive Rug EVER Sold ($33 Million) - that is so wonderful to see in a tribal carpet. And then as your eyes continue, you'll see a fifth of the rug was either done by different weavers, the pattern got forgotten, the dyes were different, or maybe all of the above, but it shifts to a spontaneous design for a bit and then back to the beginning of the design found at the bottom. Whoever buys this rug, I wish I could fly out with it and talk to you about it; it's so lovely. This is really for a higher-end space where ART is at the fore-front of the buyers interests - because this is the EPITOME of the WOVEN ART AND THE SPLENDOR OF ANTIQUE RUGS. It's hard ot part with this one, but whomever you are, please put it somewhere you will frequent often; enjoy this beauty for us.
This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one available.
