Pile: Low pile with some character-rich wear, distress, patina, and cracks/breaks in the rug (see pics) but we've secured the major ones. Ancient repairs and reweaves etc. This piece is fragile and delicate just like our hearts, but also strong, well-made, and will last another lifetime just like our souls! Handle this piece with care, keep it rolled and not fold.

About: One of the most unique pieces ever with THE BEST WOOL, so soft. Lamb wool. What a dynamite piece - so finely woven, so soft and subtle- yet with some real richness. Mocha, shades of soft to darker blues, slate and moody variations, blush, rose, and espresso - this rug has quite the color palette. Infinitely beautiful design with a center flower medallion, and really nice vines and floral elements growing around it. A bit of structure with the column-like elements on both ends near the border. And speaking of the border, what a lovely and well-structured and tight border that tries its best to contain the wild beauty of the inside. This piece is so well woven, not just anyone could do this kind of work. One tiny small knot at a time, you look at the back and want to faint! It's so beautiful - for those that have that classical and elegant side in your design and art taste, and/or if you have that eclectic vibe - this piece is a STUNNER.
