This vintage Italian table lamp is crafted from solid onyx stone, showcasing soft translucent veining and a timeless classical silhouette. The turned baluster-form column rises from a stepped square base, reflecting the refined neoclassical influence common in Italian stone lamps produced during the mid-20th century.
When illuminated, the natural onyx glows warmly, highlighting the depth and organic variation of the stone. The lamp has substantial weight and presence and is finished with a felted base to protect surfaces.
The lamp retains its original vintage wiring and cord and is in working order. As with all vintage lighting, rewiring is recommended at the buyer’s discretion. The stone body is in very good vintage condition, with no visible cracks or repairs. The lamp is sold without a shade, allowing the buyer to select one best suited to their space. Harp is included.
