Age: Vintage, C. 1920-40's
Pile: Low/Medium Plush Pile with incredible age-related patina. This piece has lots of ancient repairs and they're done not only well, butt in different shades of colors that almost stand out - telling me this expert repair person / weaver had a sense of humor and really looks at life beautifully - in the spirit of the Ancient Japanese Philosophy and outlook called Kintsugi, were they highlight the flaws, story and journey, not hide them.
