A striking, Old-World figural sculpture depicting a robed friar raising a goblet in a celebratory toast, seated beside sculpted cellar barrels. This piece has wonderful presence—beautifully modeled with expressive facial detail, deep drapery folds, and a rich dark patina with warm undertones that presents like classic bronze.

The sculpture is signed “L. Unnasch,” numbered 3/15, and dated ©1979, and it sits on its original oval wood base with felt underside. With its generous scale and substantial weight, it makes an exceptional statement piece for a wine cellar, bar display, library, lodge, or cigar lounge.
