Up for sale is a high quality hand carved antique Chinese Shoushan stone figural sculpture.
This beautiful dense hard stone sculpture is completely carved by hand with intricate lifelike detailing throughout depicting an elder fisherman.
He is depicted with crabs in one hand, two fish in the other, and a basket by his shoulder with an open mouthed fish inside.
It has a desirable multi-toned color, in nice condition, and sits to a carved red stone base that is signed by the artist on the rear.
It measures 5 3/4 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches long by 2 5/8 inches wide.
There is a very small chip on the rim of the hat by the head and a small tip of a finger chipped.
