Designed in 1964 by architect Sophus Frandsen for the renowned manufacturer Fog & Mørup, it was among the most exclusive and expensive models in the range during the 1960s and received numerous awards, including a gold medal at the Leipzig Trade Fair. The construction of white metal rings is exceptionally delicate, creating a light and airy appearance. The ingenious design guarantees even, diffused illumination that remains glare-free in all directions. A particularly functional detail is the sliding mechanism that allows the central element to be adjusted in height. Originally, this model featured an additional funnel at the bottom. As with most surviving Fibonacci lamps, this is no longer present, a feature often preferred today as it allows for further light diffusion. This impressive light fixture was traditionally found in the entrance halls of Danish schools and public buildings.
