The piece features a stunning American bald eagle handle wrapped with a bronze roping finished with a large acorn shaped tassel. It's cast out of extremely heavy solid bronze, is very heavy, and is a rare piece. It has acquired a lovely patina from age and measures 36 inches long by 11 inches wide.
