This mid-19th-century English oil-on-canvas portrait depicts Cain McLaughlin, born in 1824, as identified by an original handwritten inscription on the reverse of the canvas. The inscription further records London, 1858, documenting the location and date of execution.
The Frame dimensions are Width = 20 3/4" and Height = 24 1/2"
The Canvas dimensions are Width = 16 1/2" and Height = 20 1/2"
