This is C H Field Haviland a Gerard Dufraisseix and Morel chocolate pot with four chocolate cups and saucers in an unknown pattern. The CFH/GDM backstamp is dated 1882. The Charles Field Haviland mark is not dated until 1941 which seems wrong to me. The set is white with pink flowers I a unknown pattern with green leaves and gold trim. The set comes with the matching lid and is a total of ten pieces.
The chocolate pot measures 4.25 inches wide and is 8 3/8 inches tall to the rim. It is 9 3/8 inches to the top of the handle.
Each chocolate cup is 2 3/8 inches across the rim and 2.50 inches tall.
Each saucer is 4 7/8 inches across.
The tray, which is massive, is 14.75 inches across and 17.00 inches from handle to handle.
All pieces are marked as shown with both markings. Two saucers have rim chips which are shown. The gold trim on the handles of the tray are badly worn as shown. The underside of the tray is not glazed.
There are no additional chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. There is some slight gold wear on the chocolate pot handle as shown, but the inside is clean and undamaged and stain free.
