A striking antique French console table in the Louis XV style, this piece features a beautifully carved solid walnut base with an intricately scalloped apron and elegant cabriole legs. The hand-carved floral and shell motifs reflect the craftsmanship of the era, while the shaped apron enhances its graceful silhouette.
Topped with a richly veined marble slab in tones of grey, charcoal, and white, the console brings depth and sophistication to an entryway, hallway, or living space. The marble appears original to the piece and has a soft ogee edge. The finish on the walnut has been gently refreshed to maintain its original warmth and patina.
