A wonderful lot of four hand-decorated majolica tiles depicting four of the seven famous dwarves from disney's "snow white," all … Read more A wonderful lot of four hand-decorated majolica tiles depicting four of the seven famous dwarves from disney's "snow white," all signed by the italian artist "donnini" or "donn," dating to the early 1900s. The tiles are attributed to either sergio donnini or leonello donnini, both painters, decorators, and ceramists who worked for various factories in gualdo tadino. I believe it is leonello, because the vertical bar underlining the signature resembles an "l" with an elongated underscore. These beautiful tiles, depicting dotto (dwarf with glasses), gongolo (dwarf with a chubby beard), eolo (dwarf sneezing), and pisolo (dwarf holding a candle), are perfect for art lovers and collectors. All signed by the artist and hand-decorated. This piece has an attribution mark,
