This Biedermeier secretary desk dates from around 1840 and is likely of German origin.
Material:
The secretary desk is walnut veneered on a softwood base.

Construction:
The secretary desk is not disassemblable and consists of a single piece.
Condition:
Original antique in good condition for its age, with signs of wear,
partially replaced, damaged, with missing pieces, shrinkage cracks, and light damage. Old restoration work has been carried out; see photos.
