table lamp crafted from a vintage boch “handworked” delft-style faience vase and paired with a new, custom dupion-silk drum shade finished with houlès paris double-cord trim.

the ovoid faience body shows classic polychrome delft cartouches—cobalt outlines enclosing florals in brick red, leaf green, and saffron—on an opaque tin-glazed white ground. The shade’s variegated burnt-orange silk picks up the warm tones in the glaze, giving a balanced, decorative presence on a console, desk, or bedside.

base marked “brugge • boch • belgium — handworked,” the export wording boch used for hand-decorated lines on mid-century wares; the decoration and mark align with period production. Non-invasive lamp conversion preserves the integrity of the vase. This piece has an attribution mark,
