This piece of furniture has a distinctly architectural form, richly carved, and a striking finial in the form of a fruit basket – a symbol of abundance and prestige.

The side volutes and carved details are crafted from black (ebonized) wood, while the body is crafted from natural walnut wood with a warm hue. The contrast of materials lends the piece a uniquely representative character.

The shelf is equipped with hooks for wall mounting, and at the same time can be placed stably on a chest of drawers or sideboard, making it a universal and very decorative piece of furniture.

Original, antique furniture.
The lower shelf has visible, old repairs (stable, consistent with age).
The entire piece has been cleaned.
The surfaces are protected with hard oil and retain their patina.
Traces of woodworms, no longer active.
Condition: Good/very good, collectible.

The upper, carved part will be unscrewed for transport and can be reattached using three flat-head screws on the back and two small screws from the upper shelf.
