SPPM Krotoszyn – one of the most respected manufacturers of modernist furniture in the Polish People's Republic.

The piece has been preserved in its original form, with characteristic narrow, polished glass sides and a veneered frame typical of 1960s design.

This is a classic example of Polish utility design from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s, inspired by Scandinavian modernism.

A collectible piece of furniture.

The display case has sliding doors and an internal glass shelf.

Good condition, solid construction, solid glass and a mirror on the back of the entire piece. Natural signs of wear consistent with age – without affecting functionality.

A unique example of Polish modernism – increasingly difficult to find. To reassemble the piece, simply start by inserting each strip of glass through the top cutter, as the top cutter is deep, and then insert the bottom of the glass into the bottom cutter.

The entire piece has been cleaned of dust, dirt, and a thin layer of old varnish, then resealed with a hard, eco-friendly wood oil. Ready for reuse. See less
