The chairs reflect traditional Danish craftsmanship with solid oak frames, turned legs, and handwoven rush seats, combining durability with a warm, rustic expression.

The simple yet characterful design makes these chairs well suited for Scandinavian, farmhouse, or classic interiors, where natural materials and honest construction are valued. Their sturdy proportions and tactile rush seats offer both comfort and timeless appeal.

The seagrass used for the woven seats was harvested from the nearby Ribe River and traditionally dried on the old zinc roofs close to his workshop. All parts of the chairs were handcrafted on site. The braided seagrass rope was a popular material at the time, valued for its durability as well as its warm and comfortable seating quality. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
