This type of wall lamp was designed by Charlotte Perriand for the "Les Arcs Hotel" in France, which she designed between 1968 and 1978. It has enjoyed great popularity ever since and is now quite rare. Its reflective surface exudes a certain allure.
The lamp is now over 50 years old and shows corresponding patina and signs of wear.
