and, in … Read more This beautiful antique gilded mirror with crest from the mid-19th century is richly decorated with scrolls, floral motifs,

and, in the central crest, two putti (cherubs)—winged angels supporting a small medallion-shaped mirror.

The gilded frame features harmonious lines and finely carved details, with ornamental elements also in the lower section,

lending balance and prestige to the overall composition. An antique mirror in neoclassical style. 

This is an original and authentic mercury glass mirror from the mid-1800s, showing minor imperfections due to natural aging and wear. 

The mercury antique glass is genuine and slightly imperfect, showing natural signs of age that affirm its authenticity.

The frame of the antique mirror retains its original gilding of excellent quality, made with  gold leaf, giving it an

elegant and precious appearance. Original 19th-century gilding. French provenance.
