Rare 1960's Fornasetti Art/Design on Richard Ginori Fine Porcelain - Al Merito Cup and Saucer
The "Al Merito" collection is a highly collectible 1960s series by Italian designer Piero Fornasetti. It features detailed lithographs of colorful, imaginary military and civil medals (meaning "To Merit") screen-printed onto porcelain. This whimsical, surrealist motif is most commonly found on sets of coasters, display plates, and cups and saucers.
