A whimsical and collectible silver-plated bowl with volcanic-rock base designed and manufactured in the 1980s by renowned Mexican designer Emilia Castillo. This sculptural piece combines Castillo’s signature blend of natural materials, hand-hammered metalwork, and stylized wildlife motifs, making it a standout addition for collectors of Mexican modern design.
The bowl rests on a hand-carved volcanic stone “molcajete” base, a traditional Mexican form that adds striking texture and cultural depth.
