This was the first class of ocean-going steamships ships that did not carry sails, and the first in which the entire main armament was mounted on top of the hull rather than inside it. This painting is by Anonymous (unsigned) and framed in an antique natural stained brown wood with liner, ready to hand. Painting dimensions are 23.5 inches by 14 inches and with frame the artwork measures 20" x 29". See less
