The two pieces fit together perfectly. The base dish is thick glass with a round center space and a thick shaped glass rim. The lid has matching cut to the base of the dish and a flat cut handle which matches the edge of the base dish.

The base dish is 6 1/8 inches wide with a 4.00 inch center. The dish is slightly less than 1.00 inch deep. The set is 4.75 inches tal l to the top of the lid. It weighs two pounds, five ounces.

The set has no chips, cracks, or other damage. The glass is clean and clear with no defects or water spotting. See less
