This piece features a richly sculpted arched cornice centered with a carved basket-and-floral cartouche, flanked by flowing foliate motifs. The paneled doors display deep relief carvings and original period hardware, including hand-forged hinges and escutcheons. The cabriole feet and heavy lower apron further reflect classic French provincial craftsmanship of the late 1700s.

The walnut has developed a warm, time-earned patina with beautiful variation in tone, grain, and surface texture consistent with true 18th-century construction. The scale is notably generous and architectural, making this armoire suitable as a statement storage piece or media cabinet.
