Circular majolica lava stone plaque, glazed with thick, compact enamels with a satin finish, entirely hand-decorated, depicting a landscape and stylized houses, mounted on a square blue acrylic glass support. The work is signed by the artist, both on the circular ceramic plaque and the acrylic glass support, "Marinelli," and dates to around 1950-1970. In our opinion, the work is attributable to Mario Marinelli, an Italian artist of considerable artistic importance (born 1906, died 1989). This piece has an attribution mark,
