Robert Eickholt (b. 1947) is a celebrated American glass artist and founder of Eickholt Glass, established in 1978 in Columbus, Ohio. After studying glassblowing in Berkeley, California, and continuing his education at Ohio State and the Columbus College of Art and Design, Eickholt developed a distinctive style known for its ethereal inclusions, iridescent finishes, and cosmic-inspired forms. His studio produced limited-edition paperweights, vases, and sculptures for over three decades, earning a loyal collector base and placement in galleries nationwide. Eickholt retired in 2013, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and artistry in contemporary studio glass.
