Antique Chinese Pine and Bamboo "Kitchen" Armoire, late Qing Dynasty, c. 1900-20. The pine frame and side door panels are inset with bamboo strips, and retain their original brass ring handles. The lower sliding doors were purportedly for keeping laying hens in the kitchen. A true country farmhouse piece from Shanxi province.
