Admirers of the craft will note this is a very special piece of its provenance—one of the few that can be found in this size and scale, and with particularly bright versions of the quintessential colors Heriz rugs favor. Here, a field of red and beige tones underscores an elaborate rosette floral pattern, enjoying both bright and navy blue alongside salmon, gold and coral red tones (the same as those found in the elaborate borders).
