We first sanded the entire piece, leveled out the bottom and finally added a natural oil revealing the beautiful wood grain. It’s rare to find teak wood this large in one single piece. For the collector. This coffee table embodies the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, a Japanese philosophy that beauty can be found in imperfection and impermanence. It is a beauty of things modest and humble.
