Perfect for the audiophile looking to get back to a high quality and powerful late mid century receiver. If you have read this far, you almost certainly know what this one has to offer. Everything about it says quality and reliability -- ready to get back that tone you listened to for playing Lynard Skynard, Black Sabbath, etc.? This is what you are looking for. I tested the the dials and they all work. It powers up perfectly and the radio tunes, speakers balance, etc. I tried out the headphone jack as well as used it to push a Pioneer PL-A45D turntable. (I will also be listing it in the next day or two -- great complimentary system for this receiver -- feel free to check it out as well-- purchase it as well and I will give you a few (not many, but a few) dollars off on the combination, but each would need to be shipped separately so there would no shipping savings.
You might note that the finish remains in great condition -- look at the photos! It is all clean and ready for use. The electric cord is in great condition. I show one photo with it lit up (i.e., powered up). You might be able to see the signal power is moved from dead center where it is picking up a random radio station I had it tuned to. The stowaway antenna on the back is in fine shape as well -- I took one photo showing it pulled outward and the antenna sticking up. The size dimensions of the receiver are also provided in 3 photos.
You'll be hard pressed to find any signs of wear on the cabinet, or etc. Great looking and great working audio system from back in the day when music was screaming guitars were played LOUD! :)
I have a great record of successful shipping with fragile items such as stereo components, crystal, expensive lamps, etc. -- my secret is to use a box than is slightly larger than the item to be shipped and surround it with heavy-cushioning foam pool noodles.
