It depicts a lady or commoner in 19th-century rome, dressed in regional folk costume from lazio, with long sleeves and a rose in her hand. Signed inside the skirt "sbordoni roma." ceramic sculptures depicting figures like ours are extremely rare for roman manufacturers, and, as is the case with pieces from other manufacturers, such as those from vietri, they are usually worth more than vases.

information on the artist and/or manufacturer:
the "sbordoni roma" factory was founded in civita castellana in 1915 by the famous sculptor and ceramist alessandro sbordoni. A highly regarded artist, he was awarded the title of "supplier to the royal house" in 1939. Many of his works are preserved at the casimiro marcantoni ceramics museum in civita castellana. In the last photo, we've included some historical information about the sbordoni factory, for those interested in learning more. This piece has an attribution mark,
