The work is signed lower right, titled by the artist on the back, and authenticated on the back with a separate signature. The painting is 100% original, with a clearly visible signature identical to that seen on the auctioned paintings. The painting is in perfect condition and also comes with a beautiful 1960s walnut frame. In our opinion, the mount needs to be replaced.

Information on the artist and/or manufacturer:
Giovanni Omiccioli (1901-1975) was one of the most famous painters of Via Margutta, along with Guttuso, Maffai, and Afro, with whom he was a close friend and with whom he created the first masthead of the newspaper L'Unità in 1945. His most distinctive paintings are the views of beaches with huts and shacks along the coasts of the capital, Fregene, Passoscuro, Ladispoli, Lavinio, etc. The Fisherman's Village or Hut in Fregene is depicted here. He was also well known in Rome for his dynamic depictions of football matches. This piece has an attribution mark,
