The shape is ovoid/bulgy, very balanced and typical of Italian decorative art of the period. The lampshade is a truncated cone, made of warm beige fabric, with a contrasting trim, an elegant and fairly common feature on mid- to high-end lamps of the time. with a La Bottega Milano label under the base.
