A set of eight antique architectural brackets, made of terracotta or molded clay, dating from the 19th century. These brackets were likely intended to support a cornice, balcony, shelf, or other decorative element on a facade.
Each bracket features a pronounced volute shape, inspired by the classical orders, with decoration of scrolls, stylized leaves, and sculpted motifs in relief. The front end is marked by a molded cylindrical element, accentuating the effect of depth and architectural rhythm. The overall profile, elegant and balanced, is typical of 18th- and 19th-century architectural ornamentation.
The surface retains an antique patina in shades of green, gray, and ochre, revealing the effects of time and exposure to the elements, as well as natural deposits that enhance its authenticity and decorative character.
