Simple Swedish design
Design classic
Nisse Strinning designed his famous shelving system in 1949. It was produced in his own company, String Design AB, in Sweden.
This wall shelf consists of two tall, black-coated ladders and four hanging shelves, made of dark teak.
The shelf is in visible vintage condition: there are discolorations and blemishes on the shelves, and the black ladders also have discolorations and imperfections.
Ladder height: 77 cm
4 long shelves: 78 x 20 cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
