The fossils include a Diplomystus dentatus, two Knightia eocaena, and a partially prepared leaf. The natural golden color highlighted in this fossil limestone was created by volcanic activity, and the dynamic interplay of color marries perfectly with the rich texture. This exquisite example of natural history comes from our private stone quarry located in Southwestern Wyoming, part of the Green River Formation. The mural is finished with beveled edges and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom-made wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage.
