Three Diplomystus dentatus, one Priscacara serrata, and six Knightia eocaena are dramatically preserved in natural limestone, quarried from our site in southwestern Wyoming. The varied beige tones of the matrix provide a striking contrast to the deep, rich coloration of these exceptionally detailed 50-million-year-old fossil fish, resulting in a commanding and visually captivating presentation. The mural is finished with a handmade Wenge wood frame and is backed in wood with a built-in French cleat. This mural ships in a custom wood crate, fully insured against loss or damage.
