This black-and-white photograph was made using an analogue large-format camera, allowing for precise tonal separation and fine surface detail. A slow, fine-grain film was used to retain clarity in both the luminous petals and the darker inner structure of the flower, with smooth transitions across the grayscale range. The optical qualities of the large format process preserve texture and form without exaggeration. The final image is produced as an archival pigment print on fine art paper, ensuring depth in the blacks and subtlety in mid-tones.
