Oil on canvas artwork depicting Christ with angels and symbols of the Passion, crafted with excellent craftsmanship. The painting is adorned with a modern carved and gilded wooden frame with a velvet mat. This small painting is ideal for antique dealers and collectors of ancient sacred art.

It features a plaque on the front attributing it to the famous Bolognese painter Marcantonio Franceschini (1648-1729), but no additional documentation is available. The painting's composition and the figure of Christ are very similar to the famous painting Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane by the circle of Guido Reni.
