I take it out of the cabinet and the magic starts right away.
a tray with cats, like something off the covers of old magazines and the kitchen posters on grandma’s wall. Red like soda pop in glass bottles, and a pale stripe like cream-filled pastries.
this tray hosts my mornings and afternoons: a cup of tea, a slice of bread with jam, a postcard from my aunt living near rome.
that’s how i feel about this piece. What story will it tell in your home?
